Musical Audition Instructions
To audition for the Middle School Musical, The Lightning Thief, you will need to prepare two components: a song and a dance.
Song
Select one of the song options linked below. Each option includes sheet music, a track with your part played/sung along with the accompaniment, and the accompaniment track that will be used during auditions. You are welcome to reference sheet music (printed or on a device) during your audition, but we will not provide printed copies, so please bring your own if desired. Memorization is not required, but please come prepared to sing confidently and tell the story of the song through your performance.Dance
A video of the dance audition combination is linked below, along with the music that will be used during the audition. You will have the chance to review the dance with the choreographer, ask questions, and perform the routine twice.

Please also note: callback materials are available in a separate section below. These are provided only for reference and preparation in case you are called back. They do not need to be prepared for your initial audition.
Callback materials are linked below for reference. If you are selected for a callback, you will receive an email with details about which of these materials to prepare. Callbacks will take place on Monday, September 8th from 3:30pm - 6:00pm, and your email will have details of when during this time you need to be there. Please note that not being called back does not mean you are not being considered for a role. Callback materials are provided to help you feel prepared, but should not be brought to your initial audition.
